Jack's birthday party

What a wonderful day. We had such a good time on Jack's birthday. We had quite a house full with over fifty people crammed into our living room. Jack did so good. I was concerned that he would be overwhelmed with so many people in his house and so many babies playing with his toys, but he didn't get fussy at all. I think he knew everyone was there for him so he better act right. He is really walking around everywhere now, so everyone that had not gotten to see him in a while got to see his new skills. As you can see by the pictures, the party was ducky themed. We had a duck crossing, a duck pond and a yellow pinata. Jack really enjoyed getting a piece of pizza and playing with his balloons tied to his highchair. Everyone sang Happy Birthday, he leaned in to try and grab the candle, so Mommy and Daddy had to blow out the candle. We gave him a piece of cake and he grabbed a small scoop of icing with his finger and licked it. Then he immediately dove his whole face into the cake. It was so cute. I though he was going to drowned in icing. He had so much stuffed in his nose and was still trying to eat more. Dan and I (and Jack sort of) opened his presents. He got so many wonderful gifts. He got lots of clothes and books and LOTS of toys. This kid does not need another toy for years to come. We feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family to come and be with us for Jack's special day. Thank you all for being a part of our lives.
