Mommy's daycare

No, I am not doing daycare. I have been asked by a couple of people. I have been off for two weeks now. I left my job at Countrywide and I will be starting at Wells Fargo in Feb. 4th. I will be so close to home now and Jack will be right across the street in a new daycare home. His daycare provider Stephanie is taking in 5 foster children so we found a woman named Linda who will be taking care of him now. While I have been off I took care of a girlfriend's baby, Isabella. She a litlle over 6 months now and Jack and Issabella love playing together. It was harder than I though it would be. One starts crying and then sets off the other one. I had to hold them both or be singing to them and keep them entertained at all times (NO BREAKS FOR MOMMA) It was fun though. I can see how it would be a good option one day maybe when we have a few more kiddos and I need to stay home, but for now I'm going to work.

Mommy's Surprise Party

I am officially in my thirties and so proud of it. This has been the best birthday ever. I will always remember my 30th bday was my first birthday as a Mommy. We celebrated a number of times this year, when my parents were in town, Dan's parents came over to celebrate I celebrated with my hubby and beautiful baby the day of and I had a "surprise" birthday with all of my friends. (Dan sent an email from my email account reminding one of our friends, Oops.)I can't wait to see what my thirties bring. I can imagine lots of brothers and sisters for Jack in my future.

Happy New Year

We found out we were pregnant a year ago today and my how our lives have changed. This has been the best year of my life. My pregnancy went very well. I was doing really good at my job (not anymore now). I have never felt so happy about my role in this world. Being a mother one of the greatest blessings I have ever had. I love Jack so much it is overwhelming. He is the best baby and he is doing so well. He is such a happy baby, always smiling and talking and lately he has been giggling. I have been having to spend more and more time away from him since I have been back to work and I see that my world will never be the same. I am constently thinking about him, even when I am with him I am thinking I don't want to have to leave him. Last night I had my first night away from him. We went to a new years eve party at our clubhouse. My girlfriend, Lori kept him overnight. I made it through and had a really good time at the party, but I missed him like crazy. What a wonderful year 2007 was and I look forward to what 2008 will bring.
