We had a great weekend. Jack went to his first ever surprise party for Boo Boo (Beverly) She is deaf so we all silently shouted "surprise". She was so overwhelmed. Beverly has had a rough year, her house burnt down so she is staying with our neighbor's, John and Marilyn. She said she had not had a birthday party for so many years she could not remember. She smokes like a chimney, so I made her a cake lined with cigarettes. She loved it, she kept going on and on about it. She is so sweet to Jack and loves to see him. Saturday night we had over most of our neighbors for Mexican food. We are so lucky to have such great neighbors that we can now call our friends.
