Jack is such a big boy now. His is growing like crazy. Last week he weighed 13lb 4oz and at yesterday's visit he weighed 14lbs 2oz. He is in the 98th percentile. This week has been a very big week for Jack and Mommy. He has started sleeping through the night (Hallelujah!) Since he was born he was waking up every 3 or so hours to eat. When we got back from Utah I decided to let him put himself to sleep instead of me always rocking him to sleep. He would fuss for a while a then settle in for the night. A week ago today he slept for 5 hours straight then it was 7 and even 8 hours. He is doing so good. The doctor joked that I should not praise him so he can hear because then he will stop. I am hoping this is not just a growth spurt thing and he will continue this, especially once I go back to work. Jack also got his first shots (besides the hospital). The nurse came in and had me lay across his chest and hold his arms. As I got ready I thought to myself how I am sure so many Mom's get upset and I am sure we would both be fine. When she gave him the shots and he screamed like I had never heard before. I looked in his eyes and I got so sad for him. We both survived it, and I my going to try to get daddy to go to the next round of shots.
